Subject: Fwd: OSPA – THE SURVEY

Dear AAPA Colleagues:

When the Oregon Society of PAs heard of the proposed NCCPA Certification changes, our leadership team gathered and discussed polling our members for their thoughts about the issue. Within a week, we had developed and distributed a survey via two emails, which included an introduction to the proposed changes, and listed eight questions to be answered by the respondents. Each of the questions provided an opportunity for comments. Based on the comments received, it is clear that our members are passionate about the issue.

Our window for polling was a very brief 4 days. Our hope was that we might get 25 responses from our members, and consider the activity a success. In that time span, we received 70 responses – about a 30% response rate. Since then, we’ve received an additional 15 responses. I am attaching the survey results with this email. I would be curious to hear of the experiences that other PA groups have received regarding this issue.
